Boston University Site Proposed for City Club Home

The Boston University property at Ashburton Place and Somerset Street is recommended as the site for a new 700000 dollar Boston City Club home. The 11600 square foot lot would finance land and building costs with 60 percent covered and the rest raised by 5 percent debenture notes. A plan shows a 109 foot high building with billiard rooms, a grill room, bowling alleys, reception spaces, and dining and sleeping rooms across multiple floors.
