Urgent demand to restore removed Tremont Street tracks

Merchants property owners and Tremont Temple owners along Tremont Street and nearby residents urged the street committee to restore tracks as car crowding on Washington Street continues. British steamer runs ashore near Sand Key lighthouse

A British steamer with cargo of cotton and staves from Galveston ran aground near Sand Key lighthouse at 2 o clock this morning off Key West. The ship's name was not yet learned and details remain scarce. Local authorities investigate the incident and assess salvage prospects.

Sage Lumber Co. Wins Suit Over Lost Albany Lumber

Lead counterfeit dimes and nickels caseunfolds in Revere

Carl T. Hatch age 17 of Revers faces Saturday appearance before Commissioner Fisk on counterfeit money charges after police say he possessed lead dimes and nickels that resemble the real coins. Hatch claims innocence or says he is a tool of others. US Secret Service investigations note the work appears amateur. Penalty for possession can reach up to five years imprisonment and a $2000 fine.
