Dover Point Brick Plant Fire Blamed on Robbery

In Dover New Hampshire two men robbed the Fiske and Co brick plant assistant bookkeeper Charles Goldthwaite at the Dover Point office. He was knocked unconscious and later said the attackers fled with his watch and about 25 dollars. Police suspect the fire was set to hide the crime.

Fire at Boston brick plant ends with assault and theft

Goldthwaite, 19, found lying outside the office after a blaze at the Fiske & Co brick plant on Devonshire Street Boston. Police cannot identify assailants as the victim is semi delirious. The plant, large and five acres, may have held little cash, with safety and insurance details undetermined.
