Berlin reports say at 11 tonight the government ordered troops to hold in readiness as Spartacus forces seized the Prussian War Ministry and the Vorwaerts organ of the majority Socialists. It was believed the Reds might launch a broad disruption attempt on Thursday.
Copenhagen, Dec. 26. The American legation reports that U S warships will probably arrive in Copenhagen on Saturday and will stay several days before proceeding into the Baltic Sea, marking a staged approach on their voyage northward.
Orders authorizing the discharge of 132 aviators and ground officers attached to Rockwell Beam and Fast fields were received today. One of those to leave the services is Lieutenant William Wellman of Boston, American ace in the Lafayette Escadrille.
