He praises American soldiers for their field service and asserts the nation will make good as soldiers. He adds the peoples are proud of their boys.
Ten battleships return from 18 months in European waters and drop anchor off Sandy Hook. They will enter New York Harbor tomorrow in a ceremonial pass in review before Secretary Daniels under Liberty’s statue, signaling a homecoming for the overseas armada.
