Many colleagues attended, with memorials planned at Ruggles Street Church next Sunday at 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. Floral tributes poured in from Baptist Social Union and colleagues including Hezekiah Butterworth, Theron Brown, and J L Harbour.
Directors of the Boston Chamber of Commerce added thirty seven applicants to membership yesterday, filling the 100 member cap. The new members span twenty three trade branches and include Samuel P. Mandell, Herbert L. Marsh, David W. Simpson, and others such as Edmund D. Codman, Richard B. Pope, Eugene N. Foss, Eben D. Jordan, and Captain Alfred Sorensen.
Miss Mary M. Donahue of the Back Bay and Francis J. Horgan a member of the Legislature wed yesterday morning at St Cecelia’s Church. Rev Daniel F Horgan a brother of the groom officiated. Miss Annie V Dlan bridesmaid. Former Alderman William Fal Donovan was best man. A reception and breakfast followed at 13 Dalton Street the bride’s home.
