In Northampton on December 26, three Warren men William Crawford William Haley and Daniel McGilleget faced felonious assault charges for attacking Florence M Gould a Ware milliner returning from a neighbor's in a sparsely settled district Haley is married with two children. Two others were reportedly intoxicated. Each man says he tried to protect Gould. The trial will continue in the morning. Victor Schoelcher a noted French statesman author and traveler died in Paris today from pneumonia.
