Three boy crooks cut through a wire screen and looted a downtown department store cashier’s desk of about $500 in cash while hundreds of Christmas shoppers looked on. They grabbed five piles of money and vanished into the crowd as a chase started, creating a loud uproar.
During peak shopping hour three youths grabbed money from a cashier at a large store as a feminine scream drew shoppers’ notice. The trio vanished into the crowd before officers could catch them. two suspects are believed identified as police investigate.
