Market Review and Outlook for 1906
The article notes a feverish market after bank failures in Chicago, high money rates, and volatile railroad shares led by Union Pacific, St. Paul, and Pennsylvania. Despite declines, prices repeatedly recovered as heavy holders supported securities. The piece questions foreign finance, money inflows, and continued manipulation, but forecasts an exceptional 1906 with selective stock choices. Copper shares fluctuated with total weekly sales summarized in a table.
