President Little voices the new men will not be removed as the strike hangs on the Supreme Council decision. The council met alone and postponed action, while four of nine divisions already show dissent, leaving workers unsure if support will be given or if the strike will continue. A chaotic Boston strike an 24 hour melee over West End and Cambridge divisions ends as firemen vote against renewed action.
