Johnson & Johnson War Drafted For Red Cross Supplies
During the war the Government asked Johnson & Johnson to supply extensive surgical dressings for first aid and hospital units. The firm stated duty to country and Allies came before profits, prioritizing public demand and acknowledging customers could not buy usual Red Cross products. Normal production not yet fully restored, but deliveries expected by January.
