London market setback and Barnato’s visit impact on mining stocks

London markets opened steady but weakened after the President's message on Venezuela. Barnato’s London visit and Gold Coin mine prospects buoy mining stocks, while copper, Bay State Gas, and Montana plays show volatile moves amid broader fears of exchange tightening and mining speculation.
