New War Dept Rule Promises Local Demobilization for Married Men
Washington Dec 16 The War Department issues modified orders allowing officers and men who married locally to be discharged at their current camps or remain near their homes if they have business plans. Otherwise troops are to be sent to camps within 350 miles of where they entered service. If demobilization transfer causes hardship, cases may go to the adjutant general.
