Alward, 30, of 143 Furaker Hill Street, arrested by Division 15 police on a warrant charging bigamy. It is alleged he wed Minnie Keith two years ago in New Brunswick and later married Annie Gof of Boston on October 10.
A body recovered from the water at the Point of Pines is believed by police to be John Moynihan missing since November 9. The remains are badly decomposed and cannot be identified.
A fragmented note from Boston describes a drawing titled Red Fox and Rabbits by a prominent scholar statesman and bon vivant. It mentions Red Fox Ale and Welsh Rabbits with a note on the correct spelling of rabbit and gives an address 17 Otis Street Boston.
The Holiness Revivalists resumed sermons and dancing during services at Mechanics Hall after a Park Street Church expulsion. Ex Speaker Tom Reed appeared in the Supreme Court in Boston on a case against Insurance Commissioner Cutting of New York. Reed entered after 2 pm, his team including L. Dabney and Reginald Foster, while Assistant Attorney General Nash argued for the commissioner. The dispute centers on whether the state official has discretionary power in computing reserve liability and asset valuation for a foreign insurer. Judge Barker reserved the case for the full bench.

Mayor Gould and Chief Drury comment on enforcement and cooperation while promising recounts and possible seat changes.
