Death of lodger in gas accident at Massachusetts avenue

E F Greenleaf, a lodger at 16 Massachusetts avenue, was found dead in bed yesterday morning with the gas partly on. Neighbors say he habitually left gas lit at retirement, and a gust from a nearby window likely extinguished the flame, causing his death.
