William S. Hart, motion picture actor, wed Miss Winifred Westover in an Episcopal church in Hollywood Los Angeles tonight. The couple had been associated in Hart's supporting company for some time and the service occurred in the Hollywood church setting.
Honolulu reports that the Japanese Diplomatic Council formally approved the proposed four power treaty for settlement of Pacific differences at a meeting held at Premier Takahashi's residence. The decision was conveyed by a Tokio cablegram to Nippu Jiji.
Eighteen lives are known to have been lost in the terrific northwest storm off the Newfoundland coast that swept a score of vessels from the sea on Monday and Tuesday. Details were slow to come due to communications disruption, with coast damage estimated at at least 250000 dollars.

Wreckage from food-laden ships swamps Conception Bay as five fishing vessels are wrecked along the coast.
London December 7 United News reports that government measures addressing the Irish issue are broadly well received in the United Kingdom and southern Ireland. A lingering concern centers on Ulster where Sir James Craig cautioned Ulster Parliament that Ulster has not yet resolved its stance on the question, signaling possible disaffection.
Forecast for Boston and vicinity calls for Thursday fair and Friday unsettled with probable snow. North west winds diminish and shift to the northeast by Friday as conditions change.
