Three Masted Vessels Run Aground And Suffer Heavy Losses

New York reports a three masted schooner ashore at Southwest Spit with a tag aboard. Sanny Hook and Schooner Church are seen towing with jibboom loss. A coal laden schooner lies at anchor east of Huston Light with sails blown away. Others report anchor losses, wrecks, and fires from Gravesend to Turks Island with crew saved or missing, including the James Meyley and several other schooners in distress.
