Gloucester Mass December 6 Assistant Engineer J Henry Jones of the Gloucester fire department died this morning after a brief illness. He was a veteran fireman and a highly regarded Ward 7 citizen. Flags were lowered to half mast at City Hall and other public buildings.

The funeral of Warren Hunt a veteran police officer was held yesterday afternoon from his East Boston residence 174 Princeton street. Hunt served about twenty seven years in the force and retired due to disability. Interment was at Woodlawn. He was twice married and leaves a widow and one son.
