Stand Put for Home Rule in Dublin Convention
In Dublin the Nationalist convention split into a rigid home rule session denouncing the government of Ireland. It outlawed William OBrien and his supporters unless pledging loyalty to John Redmond, with moderates silenced and speakers leaving the platform. Continuation is planned, but no sign Liberal aid will sway Parliament without Campbell-Bannerman backing home rule.
