Eldridge to Return to Desk on January First

Superintendent of Police Benjamin P. Eldridge said at headquarters yesterday that he will return to his desk on January 1. He is rapidly regaining his health and there is talk of reorganizing the liquor squad under Sergeant Saxton. It is suggested Captain Brown may be assigned to a station to fill the vacancy at Station 15 Charlestown caused by Captain White's death.

Change of Bill at the Opera for Wagner's Lohengrin
