Brockton Police Mitigation Panel Hears New Evidence

The Brockton committee on police mitigation met after seven public hearings and faced a surprise when Alderman Jenks refused to sign the report until witnesses could publicly testify. A late public hearing opened at 11 p m with Rev Warfield Warren Goodard Officers Ashport Boyden and City Marshal Chase called. Atlantic storm wrecks Nova Scotia coast chaos hits Halifax

A tremendous southwest gale battered the Halifax region and Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia. Dozens of coasters went ashore, coal barges wrecked, Blue Bell schooner ashore at Dartmouth and doomed, fishery property destroyed at Upper Prospect, a farmer killed by falling masonry, unknown schooner ashore near Sydney Point. Free Beer Flows at Gurney Hall Republican Event
