Professor Tyndall Dead in Haslemere England
Professor John Tyndall a renowned physicist and lecturer died at his Haslemere home after a long illness and a severe cold. He was 78. In 1872 he lectured in the United States and donated the proceeds to Harvard and Columbia for original research in physical science.
