Lucius Tuttle, former president of the Boston and Maine Railroad Company, died at his Brookline home on Beacon Street at 9 40 last night from heart trouble. He had been stricken last Wednesday and suffered two severe shocks before his condition worsened.

Mr. Tuttle, in ill health since returning from Magnolia, talked with his family in the death chamber until 9 30 and died ten minutes later. Doctors diagnosed angina pec toris and feared winter death, with the full seriousness realized only last Wednesday. Dr George M Garland, longtime physician, summoned the family after breakfast.
Cromwell Conn November 30 Arthur Lithgow Devens of Boston died at a rest cure here today. Death was due to brain hemorrhage. He had been here about three weeks. Devens headed the banking firm Devens Lyman Co Boston Stock Exchange vice president. He also served as vice president of the Cape Cod Canal Company and a director of Utah Apex Mining Company.
