The Barnstable Agricultural Society fair opened with Children’s Day drawing thousands of Cape Cod boys and girls. The event showcases Cape Cod farm produce and exhibits from all local granges from Buzzards Bay to Provincetown. Cattle and swine pens were full with over ten pure bred cattle entered.
The Boston Bicycle Club will stage its 32nd Wheel Around the Hub on Friday and Saturday September 8 and 9. It marks the club’s 476th called run since its 1878 founding. Committee members are Dr Walter C Kendall J Rush Green and Augustus Nickerson.
