One Killed and Three Seriously Hurt at Bethlehem Junction

A Howard House tally ho overturned near a sharp turn at Bethlehem Junction New Hampshire. Oscar Dean of Portland Maine was fatally injured. Twelve passengers suffered bruises and three were seriously hurt including Miss Anna J McGate of Brooklyn with a broken leg and Miss Barrett of Providence with a broken ankle.

Balloon star Vic toria Leroy killed in 2600 foot fall

Vic toria Leroy wife of George W Hibbard fell 2600 feet from a balloon at Clayton St Louis county after her parachute failed. She partly clung to a trapeze bar before plunging to the ground as 3000 spectators watched in horror. Her husband attempted suicide, later delirious.

Aged Woman's Jump Endangers Mary Harrington at City Hospital

Mary Harrington, 76, of 188 West Ninth Street South Bay, is in a very dangerous condition at City Hospital after a delirious jump from a second story window at 4 o'clock yesterday morning. She had been ill for some time and sustained multiple injuries.

Fire company officers discharged for fighting

Lawrence report says Captain Robert E. Rollins and Curtis Dearborn of Atlantic No. 2 fire company were discharged by the Board of Engineers tonight for fighting and conduct unbecoming gentlemen.
