Rights to light and air block building alteration case
In a suit by dentists lessees against the American Protective League, the Superior Court weighs whether a landlord may alter a building to enclose light and air for tenants. The plaintiffs claim vested rights and damage to light, air, and signage, while the defendant argues lease terms limit rights. The court considers equity to restrain the construction, with the matter taken under advisement.
