Will Wil son Testify Order Be Pressed This Fall

Third Day of Session At Quincy House Trip To Nahant

On Thursday the convention of assessment insurance companies met at the Quincy house of representatives. Ex-Insurance Commissioner Julius Ss. Clarke addressed the delegates and remarks were printed for circulation. The legislative committee report was adopted except for the Maine section. Discussions covered improving medical examiners and their appointments. Delegates, with Clarke and Elizur Wright, visited Nahant in the afternoon. Evening sessions resumed topics and the convention adjourned to meet next morning.

City ordinance revision prompts legislature appeal on vacancies

William H Whitmore states under the new charter vacancies cannot be filled temporarily and only an act by the legislature can grant the mayor power. Judge Finds Sullivan Died From His Own Carelessness

Judge Hardy determines John Sullivan died after being run over on the Grand Junction railroad at Cambridge on August 6, due to his own carelessness. In a separate ruling, he says Margaret Tattersal perished when a schooner and a ferry from Revere Beach and Lynn railroad collided. the Echooner had the right of way and the ferry captain failed to alter course in time.

Departure of Second Raymond Excursion Party to Yellowstone

The second of Messrs. Raymond and Whitcomb organized excursions left Boston and Philadelphia yesterday. Charles H. Wilson is conductor. the party travels a month to Chicago Milwaukee the Wisconsin Dells St Paul Minneapolis Lake Minnetonka and Yellowstone. The first party returned last Saturday and witnessed geysers at Upper Geyser Basin. Hotel space in the park is limited and 27 travelers are aboard this trip, the season’s final excursion.
