In South Boston last evening Eugene McCarthy aged 22 fought with Officer Reuben Mossman as Daniel McCarthy sought to arrest him for intoxication. The scuffle drew in the mother with a rolling pin and hoodlums on the sidewalk as Patrolman Ford helped. Eugene fled to a basement where he sustained a bad scalp wound and refused dressing. Frank Wilson, 2 Avenue Place, was later arraigned for assault on an officer.
