Democrats Call Convention at Mechanics Hall Worcester
The Democrats of cities and towns in the Commonwealth are asked to elect delegates for a convention at Mechanics Hall Worcester on September 15 at 11 AM. The meeting will nominate state officers, elect at large delegates to the next national convention, and organize the party for the year. Representation: one delegate per city or town plus one for every twenty five votes for governor. Admission tickets issued to delegates with credentials. Boston July 29 1859.
