John Cook 18 of East Bridgewater is killed after an exchange with two men Julio Lopes and Joseph Lomba. The pair, working on cranberry bogs, were arrested on man slaughter charges after allegedly insulting girls in the water and fleeing back to a bathing float where one struck Cook, causing a fatal head injury.
