Four Die In Collision Off Chatham In Dense Fog
In dense fog off Chatham the British freighter Portuguese Prince collided with the Maine schooner Minnie Saunders. The Minnie Saunders sank in five minutes with all hands lost. four men died and one crewman was seriously injured. Two crewmen were rescued by the steamship’s lifeboat, one died shortly after transfer to the Portuguese Prince, the other remained at Chelsea Naval Hospital.

Collision Between Steamer and Schooner Near Port
