Strand theatre receiver appointed by London court

The London court of bankruptcy granted an order appointing a receiver for the Strand theatre against Mrs. Swanborough the manage ress and lessee of the house. Her liabilities are not yet known. Local Court Fines For Disturbing The Peace And Assault

In the central court Judge Adams fined John Hyde and Michael Ryan $10 each for disturbing the peace. Michael Bradley paid $10 plus costs for assault, John P. Tobin $15 for assault and battery, Charles D. Henshaw an ex police officer faced larceny charges with case continued. William Lyons held for trial Sept 16 on Sunday Mnor law violation. In Roxbury court Michael Gibbons and Patrick Kelly fined $10 and costs each for breaking street lamps.
