Actor in a New Role Charged in Dedham Barn Burglary
Joseph Spencer aged 19 was arraigned before Trial Justice Wakefield on charges of breaking and entering the barn of Philip J. Wieland on Pine Street Dedham Island and larceny of tools and part of a harness. His case was continued to Saturday afternoon for a hearing. He posted a $500 bond but was remanded to Dedham jail in default of bail. Spencer says he is an actor by profession but has been working for Wieland for the past week or two, leaving last Saturday.
