The Democratic State committee met at Young's Hotel and adopted a plan to elect all delegates to the national convention via the State convention. William S. McNary was to be treasurer officer and George Fred Williams to chair the resolutions committee. Attendance included Christopher T. Callahan as chair with 44 of 60 members present. several Boston and notable members were absent. John W. Glynn joined as successor to Thomas Fitzgibbon. Treasurer Charles D. Wey reported low funds and called for contributions.
