New York Aug 21 fighting a strong cold wind over a choppy ocean a flotilla of flying boats launches warships and passenger steamers failed to find any trace of the seaplane Ambassador II which disappeared yesterday with three aboard.
A squadron of Navy planes twelve strong joined the searching party at noon for a second time in twenty four hours in a widening effort to locate the missing vessel.
Parcel delivery auto unexpectedly rolled down a grade and into the Walden Garage at Walden and Whittier streets in North Cambridge yesterday. No damage occurred and the driver resumed his route after recovering from the surprise.

At Waumbeck Hotel Jefferson New Hampshire Alonzo Willoughby attempted to move his neighbor's cow to his own pasture. The animal charged goring him through the neck and puncturing the jugular vein. He died before medical help could arrive.
Washington August 21 Representative Dickenson Republican Iowa introduced an amendment to the transportation act to delay effectiveness of railroad labor board wage decisions by at least 150 days. The Clyde Steamship Company's freighter Lake Strymon is on fire off the North Carolina coast. Wireless advices say the blaze is under control and the ship, bound between Boston, Charleston and Jacksonville, is steering for Charleston and due to arrive at 3 AM. The vessel's reported position is 33.42 west, 72.13 north.

Josiah McLarty aged 70 and single died suddenly last night on an Inbound Elevated car near Sullivan Square. He was taken ill on the car and removed to his home at 4 Broadway where he was pronounced dead. The death was attributed to hardening of the arteries.
