The Rev Father Michai F Flatley pastor of Immaculate Conception Church Malden aged 75 died in Saratoga Springs after a paralysis shock during a ten day rest trip with friends. Born 1843 in Tral, he was ordained in 1868 after studies at St Marys Seminary and served at St James Boston Wakefield and Malden where he built St Josephs Church. Funeral details were to be announced.

Edward G. Longley a 133 Appleton street clerk for Macallar Parker & Co. was robbed in the Providence division yard of the New York New Haven Hartford line. A cameo ring valued at 20 dollars and 1 50 in change was taken. Henry Kiley, 30, of 16 Tyler street, was arrested with the ring and money.
