Death by own action at Woburn hotel remains unsolved

A man who registered as E. M. Wright of Boston took a lethal dose of strychnine at a Woburn hotel last Sunday. Vermont authorities report no matching wanted felon and indicate the man may be from West Addison, adding he claimed to have been prosecuted and driven from three towns. The incident followed an assault on a young girl and notes a Vergennes Vermonter on his clothes.

Tragic Accident Leads to Driver's Arrest

John Dooley a teamster from 13 Orange Court spent last night in jail after his horse cart fatally hit 4 year old Alice Dunn on Fellows Street. The child died en route to the hospital. Fellow resident John H Hughes aided the family and carried the girl toward City Hospital before she passed. Dooley, driving a cart owned by Patrick Dooley, was arrested at Station 9.

Boston woman arraigned on Pueblo perjury charge

Mrs. Julia B. French of Boston faced arraignment before Justice Lowe on perjury in a February Pueblo damage suit where Guyott brothers were plaintiffs. Missing Malden Boy George H Inman Four

Four year old George H Inman of 198 Salem Street Malden is missing after leaving home with promises of a job in St Louis. He was last seen near Cox's last factory where he worked as a turner of last blocks and may have packed his best clothes. He bid farewell to his wife and three children and said he was going West. A telegram allegedly offering a $1600 year position was never delivered.

Flowers Day At Houghton and Dutton Draws Hundreds

Houghton and Dutton held a flower day at Tremont and Beacon streets with thirty staff distributing over two thousand bunches of sweet peas by 9 am. The event featured operatic selections and floral displays throughout the store and restaurant. Hospital patients received bouquets sent by the store in the evening as part of the celebration. In other incidents, John Driscoll suffered head injuries on the Strandway near the South Boston Yacht Club and was hospitalized. A separate carriage accident injured Frank J. Griffin and W. J. O'Brien, with O'Brien’s arm broken and Griffin’s hand cut.

Accidents Reported From Wagons In Local Hospitals

Boston hospitals treated several serious injuries from wagon accidents yesterday. A Jamaica man driving a horse ran away near Main and Lexington, fell or was thrown beneath the wagon, and sustained internal injuries. At Huntington and Ambrose streets another rider fell and was carried to hospital.
