Chicago August 19 three former Illinois Central officers Harriman Ewing and Taylor were arrested on warrants accusing them of conspiracy to defraud the railroad by false pretenses and operating a confidence game. Bonds set at $10 000 each. The probe began a year ago and followed actions to recover more than $1 million alleged from car repair firms.
