Sam Jenkins alias T Roberts, a notorious pickpocket known to police, was confronted by Chief Inspector Watts after slashing lodger Gordon Trowbridge on West Canton street. Jenkins fled town but was warned to leave at once. a failed note to his wife and a later razored conflict precipitated his escape. Police issued watch to track him.

Somerville Robbery Involving Three Tramps

James H. Colman was attacked on Fitchburg street as he walked to the John P. Squire pork factory. A tramp choked him and a second robbed pockets of $6 while a third searched Linings. John Mark denied charges but was held on probable cause in $690 bonds for Superior Court. He was fined $6 for track walking.

Michael H. Sullivan and Thomas H. Cooney of Boston University Law School are among fifty college men nationwide selected to speak for Bryan and Steven son. The Bay Line Cape Cod excursion steamer from Boston to Provincetown attracts full crowds on Sundays and weekdays. The ship, nicknamed Queen of the Harbor Fleet, claims speed and comfort with a four hour trip, 52 miles, and music by Jordan's orchestra. Sailors and cabins on Saxonia voyage from East Boston

The Saxonia sails today at 3 30 pm from East Boston for Queenstown and Liverpool with about seventy five saloon passengers ninety five in the second cabin and 264 steerage. The cabin is full of returning passengers and the year’s company record will be broken. The voyage includes a long list of saloon travelers and notes on local ships, barkentines, and harbor activity.
