Local and county investigators tied the motive to the crime as they neared completion of their inquiry.
New York August 14 Charter members of the Anti-Collar League announced their campaign for the emancipation of male necks would be formally launched with a mass meeting at Coney Island. S Leighton Frooks will preside. From the island regulars and recruits will march to Columbus Circle for a Broadway parade to show support. Frooks said he had telegrams from across the country promising collarless men stand behind the movement.
