An Indianapolis man reports Rev Myron W Reed of Denver may be chosen to succeed the late Henry Ward Beecher at Plymouth Church. Reed, about 50, liberal in views, previously ministered where Beecher began his career. He was Colorado Democrats nominee for Congress last year, coming close to victory in a Republican state.
