British forces push the enemy in Lys sector driving Germans back on a seven mile front while Germans retreat in Ypres. Allied operations claim 17 000 prisoners and many heavy guns as the drive extends toward Montdidier salient.
Allied troops push more than 13 miles across Picardy as tanks and armored cars support the advance.
