Boy Run Down by Electric Car on Warren Ave Bridge
A 10 year old boy, Henry Doherty of 1 North Margin Place, ran across a Lynn and Boston electric car on the Warren avenue bridge around 6 15 last night. He was crushed beneath the car, receiving multiple injuries including broken limbs and scalp wounds with suspected skull fracture. He was taken to Station 1, treated by Dr Dunn, then transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in a police ambulance. The car was operated by Motorman 182 and Conductor 942. He remained unconscious initially but was later reported resting as comfortably as possible.
