Four were seriously injured in a head on collision on Rutland Street Railway near Rutland Centre. A child suffered an electric shock while a dozen others were cut by glass and badly shaken as the double collision sent passengers into a panic.
Little Louise Cassidy daughter of General Freight Agent George Cassidy was badly injured in a streetcar wreck. She sat behind the controller box as the front car was demolished by a Hyve wire explosion and received an electric shock. Her mother dragged her from the wreckage and she is now at home in serious condition. her sisters were unhurt.
A head on crash between two open electric cars on the Atlantic Coast line at Ken nards Corner Boston woman Mrs Willam H Eliot of Boston and Medbury summer home was flung from her seat receiving injuries to both hips and a scalp wound three others were seriously injured and several more bruised as passengers were thrown from their seats in the collision
William Surlynowicz aged 28 of Cambridge was badly cut in Schwartz Hanover street saloon last evening. Doctors stitched over 190 wounds after a long brawl over who should pay for drinks.
Malden notes Jennie Cowen a 40 year old Chelsea resident collapsed from a weakened heart while dancing at Esther Hall assembly at midnight. She was taken home by police ambulance and Dr. Thompson fears possible death.
Mrs Abbie Ames learned from a Post reporter that her daughter Mrs Martha M Chirurg wife of Dr Maurice Chirurg of Back Bay had sought an injunction against her alleging interference with affairs The daughter now ill with diphtheria convalescing and the mother in deep distress

In Malden on August 7 18 year old William Burglen of Cliff street Maplewood suffered severe facial injuries when he drilled a log in his backyard and ignited loose powder with a match. The blast knocked him unconscious and he was rushed to Malden Hospital.
