All items were found at the Collateral Loan Office on Washington street.

Yacht Fearless Capsizes in Harbor Tragedy

Last evening at 7:30 the yacht Fearless capsized after being struck by a squall between Long and Moon islands. One occupant, 30-year-old Thomas Budge of 74 Emerson Street, drowned. Other passengers Mrs. S. Stewart H. S. Wilbur and Captain Alexander Kidd were rescued by a passing boat. The Fearless sank to the bottom. owners are Messrs. Cooley and Crocker. Captain Kidd formerly owned the vessel and was in charge when it sank.

West End Street Railway Company Formed in Boston Area

A new street railway enterprise named the West End Street Railway Company is organized with an $80,000 capital stock. Planned lines would run from Marlboro street and West Chester park to Beacon street and Chestnut Hill avenue, another from Beacon and Washington to Cambridge street, Ward 25, Boston, plus a Brookline route from Beacon and Harvard to Allston station. Directors include Henry M. Whitney and others. 800 shares issued, Whitney owning 375.

A rabid dog on Hanover street bit several pedestrians and was killed by Officer Floyd. Daniel Morris, 28, has been missing from 102 Parker street since Aug 1. Patrolman Dearborn retired on pension after years of service.

The Beverly Yacht Club announces its 113th regatta off Nahant on Saturday August 21 at noon with two classes for different waterline ranges and separate classes for second class cars and sloops. Mystic Park finishes two unfinished races in brief session

At Mystic Park on Wednesday two halted races were completed before dark. Nutwood Jr won the 2:35 class in 9:29 with Syanite Jersey Lily and Joe Jefferson in order. Sylvia M. won the 2:25 heat but broke on the stretch allowing Screwdriver to take the heat and finish second overall. Belle Franklin swept the 2:52 class.
