Joanna Maher a 19 year old Irish domestic living with Charles Goodrich in Stockbridge is jailed in Pittsfield for infanticide. The body of a well developed female child was found in an outhouse vault with its head crushed. Maher pleaded not guilty claiming she has been in the country less than nine months.
