Local Copper Market Experiences Irregular Session
Copper shares showed irregular activity yesterday with inactive issues gaining enough to keep the session from a loss. General profit taking appeared, aided by efforts to shake out small traders, while Steel common and Amazomethey drew the limited attention. Calumet and Hecla sold copper at 13 cents per pound and 100 million pounds moved in 19 days at 12.5 to 12.58 cents per pound, a bullish note but not decisive.
