A Providence dispatch reports ex judge Charles S. Bradley died in New York last night. Born in 1819 in Massachusetts, he graduated from Brown University in 1838 with top honors, studied at Harvard Law, and served in Rhode Island politics and judiciary. He held the Rhode Island Supreme Court post briefly, lectured at Harvard Law, and remained active in the Democratic Party. Bradley died in New York while receiving medical treatment. he was married three times and left two sons.
