Boston retailers announce a four day sale offering 20 percent off regular prices on all Overcoats to clear nearly 2000 unsold units. Featured styles include all wool ten dollar coats at eight dollars, fifteen dollar tailor made coats at twelve, and eighteen dollar coats at fourteen forty, urging early purchase to close the stock.
Last season's cretonnes and velours are being closed out to move stock fast. About 14 cretonne lots mostly light grounds and 8 patterns offered at 40 cents. Velours 50 inch wide, 20 pieces, priced at 5, 4, 8, and 2.50 per yard. Plain figures, no cipher. Only furniture house in Boston to mark prices plainly.
