Lieutenant Colonel Seth K. Chase testified in Dedham Superior Court that he did not woo or have improper relations with Mrs. Florence R. Morrill, wife of a Brookline manufacturer. The wealthy plaintiff has named Chase as a co respondent in his divorce suit. Continued on Page 4 First Col.
Paterson NJ April 28 Common Pleas Judge Joseph Delaney held himself in bail on a charge of manslaughter following the death of Henry Cowan 83 of Paterson run down by the judge’s car yesterday The judge said he would post his own bail later and urged a Grand Jury investigation as any other case.

Francis Mahoney a Brookline youth aged 17 was found guilty of manslaughter after a five hour jury deliberation in Dedham Superior Court for the December 6 shooting death of Alexander McGilvrey in a Brookline plumber shop. He was sentenced by Judge Cox to five years and one day at Concord Reformatory. The court heard Mahoney spoke calmly throughout the trial as Mrs. Mahoney urged leniency due to his age.
